People ******* for years about the lack of updates ... then the game is UPDATED to the max.... and people *******.  

I really don't get all the ********.  The old design had not changed in nearly 9 1/2 years.  It was dated.  It was not mobile friendly.

The new look is visually very different.  But all the old functionality is there, with a few little extras added.

Yes, there are some bugs to be worked through.  The important thing is that the game is FINALLY getting attention.

It seems like most of the people ******** about the change is because they don't like change.  If people never changed, we'd still have tails and be living in trees.

Any change is good change.  Because it means the wizard is doing something behind the curtain. :)

Doesn't that last sentence conflict with your Christian beliefs?  Or do you only apply those to things like SSM?

well, to start with- visually: bad color scheme (oh, institutional blue, keep the nutjobs calm), hard to read type, everything relocated and forcing us to relearn.


Conceptually: the first page you see is 50% taken up by recent champions....hey, I don't give a crap .Then, the first thing it throws at you when you finally do get to any of your teams is the boxscore. Hey, news flash WIS, I am not the manager, I am the GM. I care about the franchise, not the current game.( Plus looking at the boxscores just irritates me anyway because of the unending capitulation of bullpen bullshit......because damn, the 1st thing I want to see is how I blew an 11 run lead after the top of the 7th. .......More a gross defect of HBS than a defect of the appearance though.)


In short: ugly, hard to navigate, forces me to look at what I don't want to see, and hides what I do want to see.


But I can thank WIS for saving me some money.

You can turn the boxscore thing off.  "Management Console", "Game Result Settings", "None".

i think they knocked it out of the park...obviously i was pretty thrown at first and it felt very foreign, but it is actually quite intuitive and integrates enough of the old design as to be new, but still familiar...lots of new little goodies and just generally more information per page and more ways to navigate meaning less clicks (as with the awesome quick links)...mobile is much more functional as well...obviously not perfect, but already improving...let's use this opportunity to continue to improve with suggestions and obvious bug fixes...can appreciate that not everyone loves it, but i don't think they're going back at this point

Evidently, evolution is not based on your Christian beliefs either.    I'd say "Would you like to elaborate on what your Christian beliefs are?" but this isn't really the place for that.

Nonetheless, when I have time, I'll explain the ******** that you don't understand.  

Anybody tried to propose a trade with the new format?  Seems like the cash is backwards....

How about giving us a setting to use the old setting or the new. Kind of like the "full site" option you see on web pages

Because the update really sucks bad. Except for the way you change lineups it's a big step backward. Doesn't look good for the future of a company who thought this was a great idea.
