All I play is D2 and D3 right now as well. 6 teams. I don't see one bit how this is going to hurt recruiting. In fact I think dynasties will be easier to create at D2 and D3 now.
Easier to create? Unless the reason is because they will be much emptier. How does not having enough scouting funds to even find 5 suitable dynasty capable players, at least at D3, make dynasties easier? That just doesn't make any sense.

jsa, I think you'll be able to find more than 5 suitable recruits as you get more comfortable. I know I found more than that (albeit my bar may be lower) and I found two pretty good post players after the first few days or recruiting that slipped through the cracks

I don't know this is where we differ jsajsa I am kinda expecting D2 and especially D3 to be able to create bigger dynasties(however D1 near impossible to establish or maintain).

With no drop/pulldowns everyone is available, the amount of times I see a stud D2 player who rejected me but has noone on him for pretty much entire recruiting period is pretty high, now you are saying I would have nothing stopping me except for the chance of a sim or human coming in late?

Again location becomes big isolated schools I think become more important, think how good Colorado will be now with no limit to the players they can get, no other D3 schools can really afford to scout the area with these budgets and no post season cash and now sim's recruit with the actual distance so no sim from 1500 miles taking guys. Same thing with empty Cali conferences empty Texas and NY's.

I think it might make the gap between the absolute best in great spots even bigger and we see some dynasties that look like or even better than some of the crazy D1 stuff going on now. I don't think it turns into GD where you have guys winning 10+ straight titles at D3, and i think Seble would try to correct things if that did happened.

But yeh no dynasties if you are in a bad spot like you are jsajsa at Southwestern

Theonly I think you are spot on about d2. I haven't tried d3 but from what I've heard d3 may become pretty much a crapshoot.

I am very happy with the quality and quantity of recruits at d3, even with the fact that I just spent money on scouting without figuring out the "right" way to do it.

It looks like I will land a ranked D1 player on my d3 team.

Will he definitely sign at 8pm? I thought all recruits were going to be different. Some will have a predisposition to sign late while others will go earlier.

LOL - I am still trying to figure out if TheOnlyIs has been converted. I think what he is saying about D2 and D3 is correct - it is possible to put together some incredible teams if you can find D2 and even low level D1 players that get passed over. It's definitely interesting to me, though there are some bugs, and a bit of a learning curve. I know there has to be a better strategy than what I have used so far. But I like the new challenge. I also like the fact that even though I have served up this time, I still have a chance to sign players with only attention points and a scholarship. In the current version, if you mess up, you have no money to get anyone.

the only chance I am converted is if I come back in a year after the beta 2.0(because I'm not gonna play the beta 2.0 and ;let seble test the beta out on my teams) however I don't see the major problems I have with this game being changed and the actual problems being addressed anytime soon
