I debated awhile before posting this thread. I woke up this morning regretting that I did post it. I felt and still feel like it was simply vetting my frustrations at a system that, even in though it is a Beta, appears to me to be so flawed that a div 2 or div 3 can grab any div 1 player with simply a scholarship offer and no other effort (no drop downs no pull town....and I wondered how he got the offer with no contact of any kind?)
I am assuming no matter what some customers, like me, who request for keeping the present system and fixing the problem that for years we have asked for fixes and those requests were basically ignored, IT will not happen and it is a case of my way (WIS) or the highway.
I also understand that there is a Good Number of Customers that feel the new system is a good one, or they hope that once the kinks are worked out it will be a better one than the present system. They say it is not as time consuming as I and others have found it to be. Ok, I disagree on that but perhaps it is just me and some others that find it takes more time.
I will probably keep One team and see if I adjust but at this point I don't see me changing my mind (always possible) nor spending any more money on this game. I realize that one customer less (and me in particular) is no big loss so this is not made as a threat or a silly cry for attention, it simply is a time and money allocation decision.
there is not much point in continuing to argue if a garbage d1 player who is massively over ranked in a ranking system which amounts to window dressing, drops to a lower division, is really a big problem. obviously, you think it is, and i don't, and that won't change. but, i think seble is going to make an adjustment anyway, and its an easy thing to address at least partially, so i wouldn't be too upset about it until/if the time comes that he goes forward as is. and even then, you could at least see if the counter-theory to yours, that real d1 players will get picked up once coaches know what is happening, holds true. then when i am proven completely and hopelessly wrong... please, proceed :)
i am not a fan of the new system, at least not yet, but it hasn't been proven that the major issues will not be worked out, so i'm giving the seble the benefit of the doubt (which i acknowledge, he did not earn from the last major release) until proven otherwise. it just seems fair to me... like the right thing to do in good faith. seble is working hard on this, hes TRYING to listen and help, even though he might destroy the whole game... but hes trying. his situation sucks there, the WIS bosses are idiots who probably should be killed. so, i think we owe it to him to give him another chance at this time.
