For those who would like to know;
I recently rescinded 2 scholarships at my DII team, players that I had signed. I was willing to take a hit, because I have no plans of moving up any time soon.
I rescinded them at the same time, and to my surprise, no negative hit in any way to my reputation, or loyalty.

There's the answer I was seeking. Too late, the guy I could have gotten when I started this signed with another D2 but now we know.

Anyone know if it works the same way in D1 as in D2/D3? Maybe that part of the game has been removed in 3.0.

tecwrg: I pretty much enjoy most of the owners in the three worlds I play in. They are three very balanced and competitive worlds, and all the credit goes to the 32 owners in each. But the two that I probably respect the most are MikeT23

How did you answer that question in your WIS interview?

I heard that there were 322 answers, a different one every minute or so over a five hour period.

Back to the issue at hand:

I just cut a player on my roster I recruited at D1 this morning for a chance to sign another recruit.

Had zero impact on my reputation (still A+) but I've been at UCLA for going on 20 seasons now and hadn't cut anyone or broken any promises that I can remember so I likely had a very high reputation.

I have a feeling there is no repercussion for cutting players in 3.0..

is there anyone that can disprove that statement?

hard to prove there isnt a tiny effect
