There is a simple solution. Declare before recruiting.
Seble has made it clear he wants this to be part of gameplay and has no desire to fix it.
Its killed many teams. I think its stupid he doesn't want to fix this issue, but I also know he doesn't deeply understand the issue.
Oh well. Time to move on.

Which teams have been killed?

I like your idea but you would have to stop players from tweaking practice minutes first by getting players to leave.
By "tweaking practice minutes" do you mean intentionally slowing down the growth of a player in the hopes that they stay another year? If so, you could just do what I do and run a combo defense--that makes sure there are rarely enough practice minutes to max out early! haha. But seriously, none of my EE's are close to maxed out but they still leave. I can't see how this would be an effective strategy.

Some have figured it out, I am too casual to see how to do it. I might have to do it if I continue to run through bad luck.

I don't like this idea but I applaud the creativity.

I'd like to see Seble fix what he knows is broken before trying to inject more creative dynamic unrealism into the game.

Kansas in Wooden the last 2 years. I will say that Jbohr also got the short end of about umpteen coin flips, so it wasn't only EEs that made him leave. Jbohr was so fed up (for a good reason) that he left.

Because he couldn't win every season?

Ever? Or one down season?

Suck it up, buttercup.

Mike, unlike everyone else, I actually like you....but you don’t play D1 and I’m not good enough to have guys who leave early so we really don’t have any horse in this race. Let’s let them have their discussion without hijacking it lol.

Anyway, I actually like this idea a lot for one of the reasons you mentioned. While you guys are putting recruiting dollars or AP’s into retaining your guys, that leaves the door open for my C+ Mount St. Mary’s or D- Hampton squads to come gobble up better freshman. I’m a fan.

Well, first, I don't really care if I'm liked. I could be nicer, for instance, "That sucks, zorzi. You've built a very good team thru skill and luck, but mostly skill, and pure bad luck has forced you into a down season with no chance to compete this year. That seems ridiculously unfair. However, I expect you to rebound nicely. You know how to do it and, bad luck be damned, I know you'll do it again!"

Second, that's a short-sighted viewpoint. I'll be in D1 next season or the season after in Rupp(could already be there in Smith) and, as I've said hundreds of times, HD is not rocket science. It's easy to understand the problem and, if you understand the problem, you can form a remedy on fixing it. If you think it's actually a problem that requires fixing.

Finally, the game they're playing now will be a game I'm playing shortly. I'm certainly entitled to an opinion, just like everyone else, on a game I am, or will be, playing.

So, with that said, are we still BFF?
