eh not really. A team that had 90 Ath at every position and 20s everywhere else is going to be better than a team with 90 Reb at every position and 20s everywhere else.

Ath is most impactful because not only does it help you on both O/D but every position benefits from it unlock some other ratings that give very little benefit depending on position.

I "wish" the game was like TrentonJoe said. But i "feel" it's more like what Benis said.

I understand the importance of athleticism. In all areas. But i think a C with 40 ATH and 100 in REB/LP/DEF/BLK Should be better than a C with 100ATH and 40 REB/DEF/LP/BLK. But if those two recruits were available, that first guy would be signed on the last cycle by a desperate D3 while every D2 coach in the country would be on the considering list for the second player.

However, that's why i play this. Not run this.

And that was all an exaggeration of course

I had a guy like the first guy -- he was a decent D1 midmajor center.

Weighing the value of ATH is pretty tricky. It's worth a lot, it is valuable, but it isn't worth THAT much. The real value of ATH is that it is used in so many calculations. LP is used in one.
