Third superconference in Phelan D2 Topic

Hey Mike, why don't you join the party?

I'm not sure I get the appeal of Cal

Cal CAA is elite in 80% of all worlds for a reason. Tons of recruits and very few low prestige D1 teams compared to the other coast

So you want to create a "super" conference to compete against other super conferences but not cross paths in recruiting? Uh, OK.
i would like 36 great teams playing against eachother each season and occasionally crossing paths in recruiting, not 24 teams within a 200 mile radius of each other slaughtering each other in recruiting and nobody having good teams except for teams not in those two conferences. I think everyone that is in the current two superconferences or wants to be in this third one would like that.
Your geography is a little off. The California schools are 1000+ miles from Colorado and like a 1300 from us in tx/ok.

the heartland and rmac are the ones who are constantly battling each other for recruits. At least I am battling those guys. Half the heartland is a bunch of yellow bellied cake sniffers and run when they see humans.

the good California conferences control California, Arizona, and Nevada. Utah, Oregon, Idaho, and Washington would be contested by the Colorado schools and stray nw schools.

You’d probably be at a big disadvantage from like New Mexico to Mississippi but then the east coast would have few teams left to fight east of that.

also you shouldn’t speak for everyone in those conferences. Many of us joined the second one because it was close to the other good conferences so there would be competition in recruiting. The rmac conference, even though those guys have a limited intellect generally and smell funny, seem to enjoy the competition. I can’t really tell because they have a tough time stringing together complete sentences but it does seem that way.

Because it feels like pseudo-creating competition. "I want to compete against humans but only in certain aspects of the game!"

Which is fine because, as it's been noted and I've said, people play for different reasons. That's not mine.

I would be down for Cal CAA. Are we doing it?
3/13/2018 8:33 AM
Yeah Cali is pretty damn far from both RMAC and Heartland.

I get that the milage is far, but at least what I do with my Colorado teams is recruit out west.

Only had sent me a site mail telling me that to pick a team in the Southeast would be terrible for both conferences, which is why I said that.

How many is that? 4 already there, plus me, Zorzil, DavidCrone. That's 7. Am I missing anyone?
3/13/2018 8:55 AM
Keep me posted. I like Dominguez Hills or San Fran
3/13/2018 9:11 AM
Haha, just as I am getting ready to leave, I poach 2 recruits from D1 human schools, A- Michigan St., and B Northern Illinois, making this class a really good class. The HD gods are trying to make me stay.

Only is obsessed by location. It's key to his team successes. Can't blame him.
3/13/2018 10:47 AM
He's still a puss.
3/13/2018 11:04 AM
Agreed. Won't play zagsrulz, doesn't want anyone near his recruiting territory.
