Meet up and beat up then.

Most people are better when you have a drink with them in person. I’d be willing to meet anyone in Minneapolis, even Benis. Never going back to Ohio, though.

Why not a weekend next march madness, next season
, everyone attending the games in a central region!!! 20 hoops dynasty people meeting up, having dinner, going to the games on saturday and drinks and stuff right after!!! We did this for baseball (roto) one year, all went to Kansaa City. It was a blast.

I had no idea. I'm a Cincinnati person, as well.
It's not creepy to meet strangers from the internet, right?

My statement was real. But I don’t know if having a HD party in Cincinnati is/was real. I’d be cool with meeting some of the guys. There’s so much to talk about with this game, that it would be much nicer to have conversations, than to post a few lines here and there and wait for responses

Well take control Benis! Sounds like a few are interested. Make a poll for us about it. Haven't seen a poll from you in weeks! No polls, no Mike, things are changing around here. And it's not the SportsHub changes I'm talking about.

I'd personally pay for Mike's plane ticket if he's not from this area. I need a face to go with the name. Until then, i can only picture myself arguing with grandpa from the Simpson's.

Did this a few years back with a bunch of people I’d been in a conference with for years. It was a blast.

I think about 10 years or so ago there was another party in Kentucky just across the river. I think the head programmer Tarek even showed up.

I'd be game for the KC regional next season.

I'm in Nebraska, could potentially do KC or Minneapolis. I know most of you don't know me, but i was quite active about 5 years ago and only quit when real life got in the way

Tarek had a few meetups back in the day in Ohio and Kentucky.

Now that the site is back in the hands of a smaller team probably couldn't hurt for Seble to have a meet and greet somewhere where a lot of players are localized.

I'm Manhattan--based but I travel often. I'd definitely be interested.

Well for us Cincinnati area guys, what's it gonna take to get this going? How much real interest is out there? Or how many, i should say...

I'll lead the way if that's needed. I'm not sure how things have been done in the past with these meets. But if we can come to an agreement on the setup, and there's interest, i think it would be great to pursue this. Whether we meet at a B-Dubs and watch some NBA Playoff games (since the Final Four is coming to a close soon), meet at a park for some pick up games, or even meet at WifS headquarters and riot until they fix EEs and the considering list.... Is totally up to those who would like to attend.

Throw ideas out there. If we all just say "I'd be interested", this won't move in the right direction. So.....

I hereby propose May 5th, cinco de mayo, as the date (just a random choice to get things started). In the greater Cincinnati area. Add ideas for locations. And if we get any traction, we can take a head count and discuss.
