They wouldn't miss out on the pick as a whole, just that round. I.e. they would miss out on Round 1.1 but would be back in for Round 1.2 and still have a chance to get their first player during the Round 1 cycle

I feel like we'll be okay once we get rolling. . . .I opened up round one at 9pm last night and had 23 requests in by noon today so that tells me we have a good group. . . .does anyone know moses_k? He opened my sitemail from last night but didn't submit a request and hasn't opened one I sent today. We do have an owner on the waitlist so if I haven't heard back by 9pm tonight (24 hours) we may have to move on.

I still think getting in 1 round a day is very doable, even if we have 2 or 3 iterations, of course we'll only be as fast as the slowest wheel. Let's see how the first round or two play out and then adjust if necessary.

I have played in leagues with moses_k before and he is dependable so I don't think he would ditch the league. Sounds good to let things play out and then reevaluate if necessary

I'm very happy I got my first player, but I'm kicking myself over a couple I could have picked instead who will probably get taken as 2nd choices now. Can't really plan ahead for the next pick until this whole round plays out.

You almost have to choose the players you fear just so nobody else gets them.

Yes, but there's still a chance any "studs' still on the board will get selected more than once on pick 1.2

It really sucks opening Neb's sitemail when his pick matches yours.

And 9 of 11 blacklisted are pitchers. Should be a fun league.

For sure. I'm still crabby about leaving Mathewson, Walter Johnson, and Pedro on the table in 1.1 - would really like one of them about now.
