Forget what I said earlier; his Patience is now 72 and that should be good enough for long term signings. I wasn't aware that Patience could improve by that much.

When i signed him, I wasn't too worried about his patience. His potential patience was well over 80 and I thought he could at least get to over 70. So far so good.

Only caveat - 50 Patience and 45 Makeup. He'll go to free agency after his first LT deal, and he'll start declining a few seasons earlier than some other pitchers. So at least, as the original owner, you can plan for those things.


Is it only coaching and the makeup rating that contribute to decline? I have noticed that some of these top notch intl guys tend to decline quicker despite have 75+ makeup, but it could just be that the guys I have noticed this on just had unique career arcs.
