Wow, first pick. I'll go with Stephen Curry 8-9.

Before we go any further I want to say something so hopefully everyone will be clear on the rules. There can be a Dwight Howard 8-9 and a Dwight Howard 9-11 and so on, but once someone is taken in the 9-11 price range that's it for that player in that price range. We can have one Michael Jordan that is 9-11, but we can not have a 9-10 and a 10-11. I hope that's clear, this is slightly different from season #1 and also different from the rules in the Ascending Value Draft, which we just completed.

As always, if anyone has any questions just ask.

Also, if you are new to this league, you can only draft one player for each of the 8 price ranges.

I'm not going to have computer access until Friday afternoon. I will update things then. (I hope.)

BTW - if you like this type of league please join my All Decades / All Tiers league. Same concept as this draft but added twist that you also have to have every decade represented. Also will have a draft clock

The 18-19 players just came out? In or out? I say in to make it fun, assuming it wouldn't change mptrey's 1st pick - which I can't imagine it would. Thoughts?

At least maybe 2 or 3 hour windows. We all get busy but common, 12-24 hours is pushing it.

Let's include the new 18-19 players

It is amazing took like 9 months to get 17-18 and 3 days to get 18-19

First of all, the new batch of players will be included in the draft. Yay.

Second, the first round is untimed and the rest of the draft is on a 24 hour clock. If we have a majority who want it we can change it to a 12 hour clock. I don't want to go less than that. People's jobs should take priority over a basketball draft.

Third, if you know that you aren't going to be around for a while please send someone or a few someones a proxy.

And last, if redbooda doesn't make his pick by 7:00 central time I will make the pick for him. I don't want anyone to have the second pick in the draft skipped.
If he doesn't like who I pick for him he can trade it to someone else for another player. He will not be allowed to trade the pick and improve later draft slots.
