Thanks guys. As most know, Chapelhillne started this. I just built off of his info to keep the threads alive so he could retire from HD. I just like to chime in with some milestone marks every now and then to keep it entertaining. Especially in the "Most Championships for Coaches" thread. Getting to 20, or double digits, or just arriving on the board with 5 titles is noteworthy in my opinion. Some coaches may like to be recognized. Anything entertaining is a good thing!

Although i think i did the math one day, and the total number of D1 championships listed, is not equal to the same number of titles by conference if you add all the numbers up. So Chap may have missed putting one or more on the conference list i think. But it's not worth the effort it would take to recount and tally up at this point.

I'm good. I would've taken it over if he told me he was playing forever.

does DC stand for "Dogg Championships"?

I find it odd that CSU, Chico is on the board for the first time tonight in D2. I see lots of great Chico teams every season

I have a dilemma.... as a D2 coach only, I never noticed that in D3, there is a McMurry AND a MacMurray. Any time I've seen a title, I've put it under McMurry.

Is there any place in the forums where I can find the season in which 3.0 began in each world? So I can go back and trace my steps for the two schools? It's not deadly important, and I suppose it would be fine to just pay closer attention going forward. But I want this to be accurate of course

Congrats to cimmy426..... winning the first title for Hawaii in 3.0, also pushes the PAC 10 into first place as a conference.

Palm Beach Atlantic becomes the 2nd school (first in D3) with 20 titles in 3.0.

is there a way of figuring out which World at each level has the most human champions? Or, say, of the top 20 leaders in total championships, if any specific World has all 20 coaches...? Or 17 of the 20, etc?

As far as 3.0 specifically, I'd say no. That's something I'd have to get with Chap on. He started this thread before I was around. And I just took it over a year ago.

But total championships all time in a given world, you can click the Stats toolbar, and click coaching stats and sort by NTs and it will show the leading coaches in the world. But not separated by divisions. It's all jumbled together

I find it surprising that N. Kentucky just got its first title in 3.0. That school seems to be occupied in most worlds, due to a lot of HD coaches being from the greater Cincinnati area.

Chapelhillne wins a title at Delaware State. The first ever 3.0 title for the MEAC! Very impressive!

100,000% congrats to Chapelhillne (and Gil) on the championship! We've spammed the forums in the past looking for members. This national championship (as well as having another coach as the 3-seed, 6th best conference RPI in D1) happened in the MEAC's 2nd season as a full conference. Obviously, chap is an elite coach and was going to have his success no matter what but the MEAC in Tark has made serious strides in only 2-3 seasons.

Off-topic question: what's the highest conference RPI seen for a non-P6 conference?
