Welcome Tompkinsaj - Great coach - Had Binghamton as a very strong team, now at Florida A&M. One good thing about the conference is that it is pretty spread out Geographically, unlike some smaller conferences. We are up to 6 now! Looking forward to seeing what this conference can accomplish.

It's new coach sign up time in Tarkanian. We would love to add more coaches in the MEAC. We went from 3 to 6 in the off season so far, in an effort to turn this into a power conference. We also have a board in the Tarkanian forums where we will track our teams and conference. Come join us!

I am hoping that some of you might joints in the MEAC in our quest to build a power conference. Last year we went from 3 to 6 coaches, and want to keep adding more. Having a full conference makes the RPI much better and enhances everyone's chances. We have some good coaches already and would love for any of you to join us.

Yaknow, I was going to drop my Tark team. I didn't love how my season ended and I have finals coming up but screw it, I'm in. I just thew in the application. I figure the first season (or three) is going to be a bit of a throwaway but I'll get my school work in order while I focus mainly on recruiting. I'm excited!

That's awesome - That will bring us up to 7 Humans. Having more humans will help the RPIs once we all get our teams turned around, and that will help multiple teams make the NT, which will help our conference prestige. That helps team prestige go up faster.

I’m happy to be in the conference. I feel as though I’d have regretted it if I didn’t.

I actually wanted Bethune, but wasn't qualified for it. That's why I ended up with UMES.

Welp, hopefully somebody snags that Bethune-Cookman squad because they'd be one of the better teams from day 1. By the looks of it, the South Carolina State team has some strong recruits lined up as well so another great squad for someone to look at!

Yep, Bethune-Cookman went 20-9 last year and does not lose anyone, returning 7 seniors. Great chance for someone to have a great year and recruit a lot of players from the beginning.

South Carolina State has a C prestige, so that could be a good team as well for that reason.

Job Change period in Tarkanian starts tomorrow. As of right now, we have seven coaches. Would love to get 5 more and fill up the conference. Hope some of you will join us! The conference should be MUCH better this coming year, as the new coaches have a couple of classes under their belts.

I am hoping to reserve the Howard job tomorrow morning. I love playing in mid-major D1, Howard is a perfect fit for both scheme (Triangle/Zone) and location, they will have a TON of seniors next year, and I've been impressed with the (already) active culture amongst the coaches in the MEAC.

Pencil me in for Howard.
