whats super crazy is, there have always been (well, ever since potential came out, it wasn't like this before potential) these d2/d3 offensive players who were really mismatched with the caliber of defenses in d2/d3. its like, the high ath/def guys go higher but big schools can't be grabbing ALL the 10 lp/per greens, and some of those are going to go from 10 to 95 and such. i feel like for a long time, seeing some elite d2/d3 scorer who was unstoppable, hasn't been an ultra rare occurrence.

but what is insane about this guy is he is an a+ elite defender for d1 too! unreal

What is even stranger is that I got him relatively easily. A D2 human on the other side of the country (had a close to home preference) made a late push at the end of period 1 but then didn't renew. I was shocked he went unnoticed locally. I rarely get a guy completely uncontested in the Northeast. It isn't like his starting ratings were bad and he grew a ton. He would have been a good D2/D3 player if he never gained a point of growth.

Most people who play this game are so bad at it that guys like this can slip by. In any world for any division, there are usually only a dozen or so coaches who are actually very good at this game.

I don't consider myself to be good at this game. I just got lucky one of the good guys didn't see him too.
