Longest Win Streaks in HD History Topic

He had some losses mixed in there each season for the most part but in the early days of Tark, Rails won 9 championships in 12 seasons plus had a NT champ loss in that span at W Chester PA. Always thought that was one of the most impressive runs ever.

yeah, he won 8 in 9 years (not disputing he probably had another in there but the 8/9 is what blew me away), with a 5 peat and 3 peat offset by 1 season. pretty insane. that run, along with the exploits of OR at uconn and west connecticut (i think) in d1/d3 tark, respectively, were mostly just wrapping up when i started - its what convinced me that while the game had luck, it was finite, and you could overpower it allowing you to pull off some pretty ridiculous ****. basically, i looked to those guys to figure what was possible, and when someone has 8/9 titles... that sets the bar pretty much at 'sky's the limit!'
