I didn't change.
We've never seen this level of brevity from Fake Wardo.

Hmm. The mood has shifted.

So many amazing coaches.

qb4us, Piman, D3, teamvip D2, hawkfan D1... And my fellow coaches in my conferences in IBA and Rupp. Eric9930 is certainly the best D2 coach in Rupp now.

My nemesis that screwed three NTS for me : ggallagh

I can name several that I respect. However, what really gets my attention and respect is someone who can manage 4+ squads in different worlds and still maintain a high level of success. For me the ultimate level of respect is reserved for those who can balance 4+ teams at a high level, life, communicate in chats, and still maintain being a good person.
Two more things- 1. Those teams have to be in conferences with at least three other players. Dominating against sims is just too easy. 2. Coach operates by feel or instincts in gameplanning. Anyone can do analytics and formulas.

What if 2.5 of my 4 are in decent shape? Can I have 63% of your respect?

You may have precisely 62.5% Pallas, come on man, precision matters!

Sorry, I rounded up to make myself look better. It won't happen again.

Thanks for those who included me in their lists, pretty cool to see.

I will try and keep it limited to 10 current coaches that I either hate seeing on my schedule, have played a ton or just have an overall respect for. Some may not have the NT success that others do, but some people play a bigger role than just winning titles.
In no particular order:

4 - Great long term conference mates
kcsczech
davidcrone
jbohrman
coachucla

3 - Long Time Rivals
timbo71 - Rivalry for 50+ straight seasons
Carlbuzz - One of the BEST D3 coaches out there too.
bigsky - Played each other 9 out of 13 NTs and have a good shot of doing that again this year

3 - Coaches I just have a lot of respect for and could learn from

I like what you pointed out regarding bigsky here!

I have nice rivalry with bhansalid00 going in Naismith NTs! Last season we were in the same bracket and came up short of meeting again. But prior to that, we met in back to back NT finals, (splitting the pair), and the season before that one we met in the F4. All in all, in 8 of the last 9 seasons, we've either met up late in the NT, or we've been in the same region for another potential showdown. We also have played home and homes for 10+ seasons.

This season we have potential to add to the rivalry. We each only have one loss (mine coming against his team.... by 20! Ouch! Was a fluke). My Coker team is led by a player likely to finish a top 3-5 scorer in Naismith D2 history, while his NColorado team has a player on The Big Board (from D2)! Some may argue we're the top 2 teams in the country again, but there's a handful of teams who would argue against it! (Including yours qb!)..... sorry for rambling. A good rivalry makes things exciting for me from time to time!

My first 3 NC games were against knappj in Wooden (went 1-2) and then the next year we played in the F4 before I got my first title at Illinois.

I love the rivalries. It is one of my favorite things about the game. Gives you a whole nother level of respect for those guys and I usually cheer for them in the tourney's as well.

I don't think my team is very good this year. I have a great PG, but other than that we are pretty young. Next season we may have a say in who wins it all, but this season we're a second round to elite 8 team depending on our draw. There are some really good teams this year.

I've got a pretty incredible rivalry with Adjacent in Knight. He's one of the coaches I respect the most and we have a running joke that each season our game comes down to a buzzer beater/game winner.

Here was our game from this season. He's also one of the guys I talk most to on this site so its always fun to play.

He's one of the guys I talk to most on this site so its always fun to play. Another coach I talk to a ton who's totally slept on in the forums is cwaldenj. He only has a team in Knight, but he had an incredible run (arguably the best I've seen) at Ozarks and is killing it in D2 as well.

A lot of great coaches on everyones list. Ningles and Arfy both dominated a dominate D2 conference I was in. Have a lot of respect for both of them.

Thanks bulls i love our non con matchup as well you helped me a ton when i first was getting started and i wouldnt be where i am without ya!

I started playing while cjwalden was on his run at ozarks. I thought it was insane. Thought for sure he was running a raquet or something at first but nope just one of the greats. I studied his teams pretty religiously in my early days.
