"but i also think in general, its not the time to push coaches away for technical violations"

It's a sad day for HD if you're worried about losing players when they're being told to follow one of the few anti cheating rules.

For the record, it wasn't me who reported it. Nor do I think ab is using it to cheat. He usually bounces around so much, it wouldn't even help with recruiting.

Its pretty much settling in at this point? The next is the NHL draft but my god why is it we can't use common rule as of now?

I don't believe anybody thinks he cheats. I just don't think there's a lot of people that like it, don't notice it, or find it as a normal style of game play. Referring to the choices he makes to hop around. This isn't the first thread on this topic.

Dude is like an HD rockstar.... controversial, hated by some, but lots of accolades!

Well, what's weird is that in Naismith, ab90 signed a player with Colorado Mesa who was also considering abninety's team. The player was condering a few coaches but his ONLY offers were from ab90 and abninety. Smells a little fishy to me.

fwiw I'm not the one who reported.

I think ab90 said - at least implied very strongly - that both names are him, right?

I will be disappointed personally if this thread ends up being fewer than 10 pages. That's all I have to say.

I am not the one who reported you, but I’ve got a legitimate question.

Which is sadder?

Being the person who wants the game played fairly so they report an issue? or Being the guy who has multiple teams in every world?

Perhaps both have too much time on their hands, but also very possible one person needs a new hobby.
i don't think its reasonable for a player of game to knock those who are more into said game, for their gaming habits. it just strikes as a tad... hypocritical? delusional? i've often expressed something between disbelief and awe at the crazy folks who run 10+ teams, especially tracyr with his 27 teams. i mean seriously... wtf? but i can't knock them for their habits.

i'm not trying to knock your post a lot - but a little, sure!

i think whoever reported ab has a specific issue with him... im just guessing based on, i don't know, my gut and historical whatever. but its also fair to question the need for nitpicking in a day and age where NTs can barely be filled by humans anymore. i'm not advocating a blind eye towards cheating - but i also think in general, its not the time to push coaches away for technical violations. again, i think this was a non-random reporting. but yeah.
Completely agree with the first thought. It's not right to knock someone for the amount of teams they have. First, it's drawing focus from the original point of 'fairness' to take a jab at someone. Second, why jab at someone for their hobby? In this instance, sure, he was breaking the fairness standards and you can comment against him for doing so. But why even bring up his amount of teams as a negative? It almost implies there's a hobby-hierarchy and HD is considered low-tier - it's fine to enjoy it but you can't REALLY enjoy it. If I went to the gym every day to workout, is that sad too? What if it was twice a day? Three times?

Kinda disagree with your second thought though, Gil. You have to make the cutoff somewhere and it should be reported if noticed by other coaches. I wouldn't ever notice that was occurring, I'm sure most players wouldn't, but people have noticed and ab90 shouldn't get away with cheating (just to clarifiy - IF he was cheating - I don't know if he was) just to keep the human coach. It could ruin another coaches season - especially at DII/III where money is more valuable and it only costs a few bucks to get a new HD team (or free with the code if that's still running).

A lot of my comments are sarcastic and to stir the pot. I do however think that nobody on here should have 2 teams in any world period. They made it 1K between and that was fine in the 2.0 setting. In 3.0 it just doesn’t work. That’s just my opinion though.

A lot of your comments are used to draw attention to yourself. Wait what are we talking about?

Oh wow. Yea if this is true, that looks REALLY bad. I was going to avoid saying this..... but I'm not the one who reported either.

that's not something that happens accidentally, or by "messing around" or whatever the words were of ab90.

I admit I feel more strongly about "all things ab90" than I do about the extra resources Loop hole. But it's for a different reason. I feel like seble is naive to the fact of what's really happening here. By not doing something to stop it, such as making Loyalty and/or Reputation important in the hiring process, seble is basically enabling ab90 to continue to do this. And ab90 has clearly stated he does this for the Amazon gift cards.

So basically it's as if seble is ok with the fact that everyday, his product pays one individual money, over and over and over again, at the expense of all the other coaches here. Sure it's true that ab90 still has to go out and win those games to get the money. But it's a stacked deck. And for coaches who have been here a long time and DON'T rack up heavy credits (and NOT coaches like myself), it has to be an eye sore. It affects the integrity of the game.

One coach is playing a completely different game than all the rest of us are playing.

TO SEBLE..... IF YOU'RE OK WITH ENABLING ONE USER TO BASICALLY TAKE MONEY AT A RAPID PACE FROM YOUR PRODUCT, WHILE HE ADMITS DOING IT AND RIDES THE COATTAILS OF OTHERS, DUE TO A FLAWED SYSTEM, THEN THERE'S NOTHING TO SEE HERE. BUT IF YOU FEEL IN YOUR GUT THAT IT'S A LITTLE BIT ODD THAT ONE USER TAKES ADVANTAGE OF A FLAWED (AND FIXABLE) HIRING PROCESS, FOR PERSONAL GAIN AND NOT JUST THE JOY OF THE GAME, PLEASE BE OPEN MINDED ABOUT WHAT YOUR COMMUNITY IS TELLING YOU HERE.

it should only take a minute to incorporate a grade level drop down to B+ in reputation and loyalty each time someone leaves a school. A second left school in two seasons could drop down to a C+. And maybe a C+ rep/loyal should keep a coach from getting any A+ job they want (at D2/D3). Even if it was only one season to get the rep/loyal back up to a point where getting the best available job is a possibility, it would show that you (seble) understand what's happening now is not a normal flow of game play.

To ab90.... I agree with what others have said... you're a helluva coach. I have no personal issue with you. I know you can win with your own players. I just don't agree with your methods. Whoever reported you focused on the 1000 mile rule, and I kinda changed it to the team hop issue. So I apologize if it looks as if I'm piling on YOU. I'm actually not. I'm targeting your methods/style of game play. And I'm directing it towards seble, not you. When the WE glitch happened, thewiz17 was the offender, and a change was made by seble after it was exposed. In this case, I'm hoping for change to be made again. But I hope you (ab90) continue to play afterwards if changes are made. Its not personal

Email with admin:

AB: “It really is just too difficult. I have more teams than I can handle. I don’t know who’s where. I miss recruiting windows all the time. For instance, I’m not even sure I’ve logged into abninety in a couple of days. Whatever you’d prefer. That said, I opened a ticket telling you that Colorado Mesa and Washington (mo) were on a crash course for the same recruit. Mesa is going after a guy who wamo is high on, and wamo’s probably going to get him. I’m not altering the strategies of either school. Thoughts?”

admin: “So you’re recruiting against yourself? That seems a little odd, but not against the rules.

As for the accounts, it’s really up to you. If you’d prefer to close abninety, you can refund unused seasons and I can transfer them for you.

Just let me know if you’d like to do that.“

Ya know guys, never in my life have I been disliked. Among countless other things, I got roped into running for a municipal office and was elected, as a *write-in,” with 81% of the vote in November. Was on a show on FOX a couple years ago and was a viral star for a minute. I’m not a bad guy, and I’m good to people.

When I started, 6 years ago or whatever, I had more time for this. I built some true dynasties, and it was fun. I still enjoy WIS, and I love winning, but I can’t allocate as much time as I used to for countless reasons. This is one of few whispers of mindlessness in my life. Frankly, the gift card comment was trolling people. So many unprovoked things have been said about me over the years that, eventually, you really just want to see those people get as angry as possible. Now, I troll not infrequently. Until the lot of you stop sending me nasty site mails when I’ve never spoken to you, I will continue to regard this community as brash young men who probably are only this combative when on the internet.
