Here's another question; what are the new ideas coming out of the *conservative* right? Not libertarian right, but conservative right? If I'm voting for Trump, what *new* policies am I going to get? What is the vision for the future?
If what you are looking for primarily are new policies, you clearly misunderstand the core ideas of conservatism.
(that's my point)

Your point is that you can't be a deep thinker without proposing fundamentally new policies?

In that case, all the names I listed before remain as perfectly viable evidence that your point is unrepentant nonsense.

No moron his point was you mentioned a lot of people writing 50 years ago.

What? My question was independent from the other discussion. It does relate to guitarguy's point.

To clarify, because I don't think I make this clear enough, this is in relation to the point about discussion in right-wing spaces. I haven't seen this exist (with the exception of libertarians). Leftists, from my experience, get pissy with each other all the time. I don't see this on the right. I see them fall in line. What's the Bernie or Bust equivalent on the right?

In terms of policy, I almost never see anything discussed. That's why I brought up the new ideas stuff. The discourse seems to be "the left is bad and Trump is good" and nothing beyond that. Seriously, if you put two generic Trump supporters in a room together, what would they disagree on? I honestly don't know.

I don't understand how anyone can look at the left on TWITTER (where guitarguy apparantly gets 90% of his political opinions) and come away thinking they agree on 99% of topics. There's so much infighting.

God, I can't believe this was posted on my account. I am sorry. I think social media is really important.
