The ultimate bummer. Take comfort that she is not suffering anymore. Take a deep breath often.
Remember the good times as much as possible and share them with your family, especially the ones that make you laugh. It will help you and them through this difficult time.

As one who has been married for 38 years and the day my wife dies will be incredibly sad and hard, you have my sympathy, and wishes for being able to somehow to move on with life.

Finn....we have never met but I cannot even imagine the impact. Hang in there...perhaps WIS can serve as a little bit of distraction....

Thanks all for the kind words and encouragement. The past few weeks have been unbelievably stressful and at times unreal. I've been playing WIS sim baseball for over 18 years now, done pretty well and probably spent way too much time creating teams and coming up with different themes to run. It all seems kind of meaningless now but I still check in from time to time to see how my active teams are doing. I'll probably continue playing but in a scaled down fashion and will not be running leagues any time soon.

For those of you with loved ones near - cherish each and every precious moment you have with them.
