I really wanted to go modern, but have convinced myself doing so this early would be suicide.

Then I wanted to go offense but talked myself out of that too.

I had 3 pitchers ranked as the best choices to go with and managed to decide to pass on #s 1 and 2 in favor of Silver King, pitcher.

I figure with this long of a wait to go again, he's like drafting 2 starting pitchers at once.


If second guessing was a marketable skill, I'd be rich.

When I signed up, I didn't really want a high pick. Just too much can happen in the next 46 picks that could possibly put me in a big hole.

I wanted King, but didn't like limiting my player pool from 50 years down to like 30. (probably doesn't matter LOL. But I think it does!) If I was drafting like 23rd, it would be much easier to make these decisions.

I am also going to zag while everyone else zigs

So much pressure on this first pick. I've got it narrowed down to two picks, which are 100+ years apart. I'm probably going to regret this pick, since I am going to be competing with at least 8 others for the same players, but how can I pass up...
