I have ‘83 Rickey Henderson leading off for me. He has speed and a good glove. Figured it would be good to have him at the top of the lineup. I also chose power over average with Giambi, Banks, Tatis, Ott and Dimaggio so that could hurt me the pitcher parks.

went with a good closer in ‘18 Hader and set up guy with 1886 Shaffer. Got Ryan and Koufax in my rotation along with Plank, Vic Willis and Gibson.

will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Is there any way to check in on the league we're not in?

For my build I focused on A+ range that had enough speed to let me confidently set the base running aggressiveness to 5. We won't steal a lot, but we should take every extra base we can get. Rotation is 4 man (9mil, 9mil, 9mil, 7mil). I usually play modern themes, so this is my first time using Bernhard. Low BB guys Babe Adams '24 and Carl Weilman '12 in the pen, hoping my range can take away a few hits and I can counter some heavy BB teams.

I decided to go with an Astrodome team to save a bit on pitching. Went with low BB/9 SP and dominant RPs. For the lineup, went with good range and D up the middle, and solid D with meh range at the corners. Focused on low K, high speed, high walk, higher BA hitters with little power. 4 switch hitters. Going to try to win with small ball.

was starting to feel ok... but the 15 inning game on the 8th has me doing some tip-toing.

2018 Jacob Degrom has started off with 27 scoreless IP...

(And I know that posting this will likely put the announcer's jinx on him and I'll get a dud tomorrow).

There is a measure (I call it the Cookie Score) that I've come up with, that gives a numerical score to how common or uncommon your roster is, relative to oithers. If all 25 of your players was only taken once (i.e., only by you), your Cookie Score would be 1.000. I weight the number of occurances by salary, so having a popular $10 million player on your roster weighs much more than having a popular $200K player on your roster. Here are the Cookie Scores by owner. The average cookie score in this tournament is 1.835.
