Round 1: 9 W's and 21 L's Uh - oh...not looking good to start.
Round 2: 18 W's and 12 L's Okay, I like that - much better.
Round 3: 20 W's and 10 L's I'll take it any day of the week!

If only it would keep up throughout the season. I know better...

Round Four: Out of 30 teams, only two of them are 0-4. Both are in League 1...

Although the 52-58 Yankees just picked up their first win of the season I can’t help but notice Mantle’s 56’and 57’ have OPS below .600 and Andy Carey and Billy Martin are hitting 0-15 and 0-14 “respectively”.

Fun fact: My 1936-51 Giants are hitting .308 as a team (7th in AL in league 8). The two worst hitters on the team are my two Mel Ott clones, both hitting exactly .176

It's not easy to slug .529 points worst than real life, but '56 Mantle (.705 slug in real life) is currently slugging .176. He's crushing '61 Maris, who is only .385 points below his .620 real life slug%.

After 4 cycles my 13 teams are a combined 30-22, which translates to an average pace of 93.5 wins per team. My "Mr. Irrelevant" team, the 1944-1966 Brown-Orioles, is 3-1 despite featuring my nomination for the worst clone in the tournament, the 1966 Boog Powell (starting at DH). He hasn't disappointed in being disappointing, slashing .118/.158/.294 so far.

My 1957-1969 Braves are 0-4 while my 1960-1983 Braves are 4-0. Who knew the 1970-1983 Braves would be so impactful? And I haven't even decided if I'm going to use Dale Murphy yet.

My three best pairs of clones are off to good starts. My two Rogers Hornsbys have OPS's of 1.024 and 1.034, my Barry Bonds are at 1.138 and 1.853, while my Ty Cobbs are hitting .400 and .450.

Would be a fun contest... Which starting batter goes hitless the longest to start the season?

Fun with small sample sizes: Reliever 2016 Rich Hill (2013-18 Dodgers in League 22) is on a pace to go 0-80 with 200 runs allowed in 90 innings.

Started 6-2 with my 8 teams. Combined 5-19 since.

My 1887-99 Spiders team has Burkett hitting .389 and .524.

3B Bobby Wallace had b2b games with 6 and 7 rbi.

I've never had a Cy Young do well. 2 starts and 20 ER in 10.2 IP

What are you talking about farleyfustle? Your 33-38 Yankees have scored 34 runs in 4 games (8.5 per game) and ranks 4th in the league in scoring.

Ok schwarze. My 33-38 Yanks are averaging 11 HITS a game; good for 11th in league
Maybe time for trip to eye doctor
Anyway all 3 of my teams avg 6.5 runs or more and .500 or better
The timing wasn't good for me.Id like to have had about 10 teams

After game 5, the only thing that raised an eyebrow was that 7 of my 21 teams went into extra innings. That’s alot. Not very good for team stamina this early in the season.
