Struck a deal with my son Justin to let me play the San Diego Padres this season so he doesn't play them for a 3rd consecutive season (and winning 111 games with them just prior doesn't hurt).

I just don't understand how a team that has finished with the best regular season record every time in the last 3 seasons and went to the World Series in all those 3 seasons continually falls to the bottom of the draft. It just makes no sense.

I know I don't like playing the previous seasons WS champ. I'm guessing others may feel the same?
