There are some nice combos at the bottom of the draft.

Can someone explain to me why Bill Walton goes so high every draft? He is fantastic but his minutes are so low and his Tos are actually pretty bad. I've always seen him as more of a late 3rd to 4th round pick but he always goes in the 2nd.

Great dreb, 100 def, great assist for his position. He’s not my cup of tea but I can see why people like him.

True, except I was able to draft him last year #55 overall early 3rd round. And I agree most of his seasons are terrible for TO’s, but there is one season over 2000 minutes that is very good in my opinion but it’s not 100 defense. (Maybe it’s the one I chose in the last 52).

Updated the rosters. Some interesting combos. I feel like Stockton and Rodman always get drafted together but I don’t like it. Sure you’re getting the best passer and best rebounder in the sim but it’s a big Zero in the usage department through two rounds.

Anybody here ever use Tyson Chandler? I’ve never used him before and don’t know which version is best. The 11-12 has great efg% and has 100 defense, but is 5% less DRB% than most of his season and a few ticks lower on the ORB% too.

luckily Gianni’s’ monstrous 37.5% usage let me take him and not worry about usage issues

The more possessions you can deliver to Giannis in his limited minutes, the better. I would go with the better rebounding version.

I thought about it and you are totally right but I can’t pass up an all 100 defense front court with tyson chandler shooting 68 efg%. I’ll have to hunt for rebounds later in the draft. Having a bit of buyers remorse on Tyson Chandler at the moment but what is done is done lol

I've used Dwight plenty in this league by now but I have no memory of drafting Kidd or Manu thus far. I'm kinda digging the start. That said, there are lots of duos and trios I'm liking at this early stage.

I like it a lot. You need a lot of 3s for Dwight and those two certainly provide. Also just building on your rebounding advantage with those two at guard.

Gerry trying the wilt+magic+Erving for the second straight year. I’m not a big fan of it for the same reason I liked LTBs almost no 3s at guard is a problem when you’re building around wilt.

I have problems with 3pa and turnovers, but like my solid base of scoring, efg%, rebounding, ast, and D... BTW I had Tyrese penciled in as my 3rd round pick ahead of Magic , but some #!%# traded up and snatched him the pick before me

Samyork did win 50 and make it to the conference semis so hate may be a bad word for that trio. It’s more I just don’t know they maximize each other. Will be interesting though to see where you go from here.

I figured tyrese would make it to me just because of his draft history. But I think him being picked early in the third is fair.

I have learned that when you want somebody you have to move up and get him. we were getting to the point when haliburton was going to be picked in the 1st half of the round and I figured somebody was going to want him so I made a move. it did cost me a fall down of 40 picks later this draft to move up 5 picks but I needed his assists, defense, and efg%
