I’m not aware of any leagues where a player has to be named before a trade is confirmed but if anyone wants to rule in and state that that’s required then that’s okay.

but I have certainly been in leagues where editing a post is frowned upon. Best to just have a new post when you actually make your pick, rather than try to make it look like you got it in before.

I did get it in before…that’s why my post was ahead of yours.

The edit was to add the player, but the post prior to that was me confirming the trade *before* you.

Just take it. I don’t care.

The discord part doesn’t matter. He posted a public trade offer on the forum and I was the first to confirm it on the forum.

you can either:
-just accept my offer to give you the trade even though I accepted it first
-ask commish if me posting a player was a requirement of the trade going through
-let it go

I was under the impression from reading jhsukow's post that someone just had to make an actual pick. Which I did make a pick first. But you clearly confirmed first, which is why your post is before mine (duh). That's why it's best not to edit posts, so someone else can actually see the order of what happened.

I posted two trade confirmations on two forums before you posted one. No leagues have ever required that a player be named before a trade is confirmed.

You can have the pick if you want it. You can ask for a ruling. I’m not sure what else you would possibly want.
