It means that the first time through the draft it goes from 1 to 24, and then the next 2 rounds both go from 24 to 1. The round 4 is back to 1 to 24, and then each round alternates. The 9th and 10th rounds each team makes 2 picks.

A means the round starts at the top and B means the round starts at the bottom. In this sim the top like 15-25 players are so much better than the next group of guys that a regular snake draft is way too much of an advantage for the owners who get the top 10-15 picks. So to even things out, the guy who picks first and takes like Chamberlain or Jordan or Curry or LeBron or some other all time great does not get his second pick until pick #48 and then does not get his third pick until pick #72. This gives the guys who pick bear the bottom a chance at also having a top team. Without this the guys who get the top picks in the first round are just gonna be much better than the teams that picked at the bottom of the first round.

This i how most drafts here are run because of how much better the top guys are.

This will be a very fun and strategic draft as not only do you want to draft good players, but all teams have to have 2 players each from each of 6 decades.
1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s

We will use guys from the 50s that have maybe never been used as there will be 48 players with a 1950s season.

So what is the strategy? Do you grab one of the few great 1950s seasons early , or one of the couple dozen great 1960s seasons early, or do you wait until later in the draft to get those guys?

NO PLAYERS FROM 2010-2011 OR LATER ARE ALLOWED. So it won't be easy to find guys who shoot a lot of threes, and lots of big favorites on the site did not start playing until after the cutoff.

As a newbie I should tell you that only having 24 team leagues available has been a huge problem here. Many times you can get 12 guys to join a league, but just can't get to 24. I've went threw this with the owner of the site many times, but he claims that the coders here told him that it would be too difficult to allow smaller leagues. I'd like to see8 12 and 16 team leagues. I don't get why it would be so hard given that the baseball game here allows several different size leagues.

I also don't get why more guys don't want to give this a try. I have a baseball league with another simulation game that uses the same premise and we are just finishing up the 9th season this week. Right now it's an 8 team league and it's called the Fifteen Decade Festival. All rosters must have 1 player from the 1870s, one player from the 1880s, and 2 players each from each decade from the 1890s through the 2010s.
