While we wait , I have an interesting idea for a variation of this league. It would be very different because more players would be granted to teams. The idea is to assign a value (1-12) for each player on our lists and the highest “bid” wins. If two people “bid” 12 for LeBron, then no one gets him. If one person “bids” 12 for Karl Malone because he was at the top of someone’s list and another person “bids” 11 because they had Malone 2nd on their list, then the first person gets Karl Malone. You have it right Sam. And I hesitate to call it a bid or salary cap of 78 (12+11+10+9+8+7+6+5+4+3+2+1=78) because I don’t want anyone to be able to bid 67 on 1 player, and 11 1$ players. I think it would work best using the 12-1 ranking method. That way if you got
unlucky and got the fewest players in round 1 , you would automatically be able to get the next best player available in rd 2 because your 2nd rd ballot list would have the most players on it.
