Thinking about trying a bit of a different league. The idea is to draft a politically left or a politically right leaning team.

Everyone would start with the same two terrible goalies, 82/83 Denis Herron, 85/86 Brian Hayward, and nine dreadful d men.

Then, you fill out the forwards with either all left wingers or all right wingers, hence the politically left or right status. There will be no centers.

I think that we could see some very interesting scores.

Love the theme. I just put a team together of some of the best LWers that totalled $102 million. I’m good either way but to make it more of a drafting challenge but still lots of scoring, how about a cap of $100 million or $110 million?

I see your point, as I have put together bot LW and RW teams and find it impossible to spend the $150 million. However, I am loathe to drop the cap as I like to give everyone enough of a budget to use any combination of available wingers they want. We may end up with a lot of similar teams but that is where managing strategies come in to play.
