PG - James "EF" Hutton: 5'11", 177 lb Grant Deuel HS, Revillo, SD
Looking a solid point guard with excellent ball handling and passing skills, we lucked into a player who was also versed in our offense and defense. James is also an excellent foul shooter, has good speed, and is adept from the perimeter. He should fit in nicely as our primary backup point guard for the next 3 years, then take over to lead the team as a senior. However he could potentially work his way into the starting lineup if Kelly or Matranga falter.
PF - Martin "Slick Rick" Myricks: 6'8", 209 lb Prairie HS, Cottonwood ID
In the mold of current starting PF Terry Lambert, Martin brings an all-around game that will help play multiple positions. This year he looks to be taken under the wing of Mr. Lambert to learn how to use his somewhat meager defensive skills within the zone framework. He will likely be groomed to take over the position next year.
C - James "the Big OG" Ogara: 6'6", 210 lb E. Guilford HS, Gibsonville, NC
James is a fantastic low post threat and solid shot blocker who will be taking a redshirt year to improve his rebounding and lung capacity. George Wendt had more stamina getting from the front door of Cheers to his bar stool. I think he has severe asthma.
