What depressing news...the Packers could've gotten Tony Gonzalez if they'd been willing to give up a 2nd round pick, but TT would only give up a 3rd.

Eh, sounds like the Chiefs had basically accepted the Packers' offer of a 3rd round pick, but the Chiefs GM upped his offer at the last minute and TT didn't want to match.

I still would've LOVED to have Gonzalez on this team. That's some serious weapons: Jennings, Driver, Gonzalez.

Not that any of it will matter if none of the numerous other problems on this team are fixed.

I thought Gonzalez for a 3rd-rounder was a decent deal, but I'm glad they didn't give up the second.

Fox's Jay Glazer is reporting that Brett called the Detroit Lions before the Week 2 matchup with Green Bay and offered them help in their preparation, giving them an hour to 90 minutes of lessons on what the Packers do on offense.
