I'm not convinced that defense means all that much in this sim. I've had 100 defenders on guys who go out and shoot like 17 for 28.
I know the feeling, but that woulda been 24 for 28 against Schayes

Here are the free throw percentages for my 5 guys - 84.2, 88.9, 86.6, 83.6, 81.2

And their FG% - 53.7, 53.6, 53.0, 54.0, 54.6.

Turnovers for the 5 starters add up to just 11.8.

Should be a very effiicent offense with mediocre defense except for Cheeks. We'll see how they do.

Oh yeah, minutes for my 5 starters - 40-35-35-26-37

Just need 67 minutes from the bench.

LOL, me too. And he was on amerk's proxy list.

I wanted him because I needed the 27 usage to make Mark West useful, but then someone else took Mark West so I didn't need Kiki anymore. Just shows you the relative weakness of this draft. We're down to B minus and C+ guys right now, soon to get to C guys. Not even many B minus guys left right now. Maybe none by now.

Here's my theroy. Along with their being no ABA anymore, so fewer guys who are among the top players in their leagues as there is only one league, but the decade started with 22 teams and for most of the decade there were just 22 or 23 teams. It got to 27 in 89-90, but that's just one season. So fewer teams, fewer players who are above average.

Now there's 30 teams, so 7 or 8 more teams than for most of this decade.
