Since I don't have a player with 2B listed on this team's roster, logic would dictate that I draft one here. But nope, we're not doing that. We have faith that Joey Votto will be able to perform adequately at 2B. And whatever he gives up in the field, he will more than make up for it with his .450+ OBP and 1.000+ OPS.
What we do need though is a left-handed pitcher. Now, I could take some great 50-60 inning RP with a sub 0.95 whip, and watch him get removed after facing 2-3 batters b/c his pitch count exceeded the 15-pitch limit. Instead, let's get somebody that can come in and throw 3-4 innings in relief or maybe even spot start against a team that has a bunch of left-handed HR hitters.
