Toews is the reason for the record? Interesting.

I'd credit Crawford and Kane and about 6 other guys on the team before I give Toews credit for the hawks record. That said.... you still haven't provided thoughts why you think an elite player such as Toews is on pace for less than 50 points this season?

Same reason an elite player like ovechkin is only on pace for 82 pts, or an elite player like stamkos is only on pace for 68. The season is 10 games old and toews is a notoriously slow starter. I think he's played pretty well and created chances, its just a matter of time. He's never gonna be a 100 point score the way he plays (two-way) but I do believe hell once again be in the top 20 in the nhl come April.

Solid win last night. Again, last years team would have lost that one in ot after the tying goal. This team came out and completely dominated the ot period. They showed lots of resolve and poise after allowing that 2-2 goal, and that was especially important minus Keith. Leddy was really strong and the Kane-hossa-Sharp line looks in mid-season form.

Canucks are struggling to start the seson but tomorrows game will be a tell tale sign..no way any quality team loses to the Hawks ...these are the teams you need to beat...the lower lites ...if the team plays anywhere near 100% it should be a easy 2 points...time to stop screwing around and start moving up the standings

Finally Chicago plays a good team. I just read somewhere Chicago has had the 3rd easiest schedule in the NHL so far.... But no games are easy in the west, right? Especially games against Columbus.

carcillo has become soft on the hawks.  he's not even a goon anymore.  kane is a bigger man taking that penalty after the snow shower to craw.

For all his spouting off shouldnt he take a few runs at guys and drop the gloves ?reminds me of Hordichuk..talks big comes out and takes a run at Ballard and is injured 10 secs into his first shift LOL..these guys are 4th liners for a reason.....cant fix Stupid
