it didn't work, but it was an idea worth a shot. I thought that if I stirred up the free agent list, a stud (say 94+ overall, preferrably with a sniper or PP icon) might bubble to the top when it refreshed. Look at the times I did it. What else am I going to spend money on? My upgrades are done, and I STILL have over $325M in the bank.

It would be fun if they gave us more control over contract negotiations, especially when keeping your own.  Start handing out Flyer contracts, 12 year deals to over-30 players. Manipulate the cap, etc.

If course, we now have a laundry list of pipedreams.

Never seen this before: my goon league coach's morale is SO low he's crying and trying to hold me up for $4.2M to re-sign.

The COACH's morale is low? Not getting enough ice time? WTF?

Is this one of your 2-coach teams?  That would be my first guess: he's in a timeshare.

I don't have any two coach teams anymore. I shitcanned that experiment too. Didn't seem to be doing anything for me.

No trash talking out of me the next couple of nights either. Concert tonight, and again tomorrow. Robert Randolph and the Family Band tonight, The Dirty Bourbon Blues Band tomorrow.
