That is not a question.  But, for the record, my "internet persona" isn't much different from the walking around version.  I've got a low tolerance level for dumbassery and a lack of concern over your feelings when you're being a dumbass.

The holidays for some are just a reminder of the pain in their lives. If what makes them unhappy happened around that particular holiday, then it just makes them unhappier. I hope he finds peace with whatever event in his life that made him this way, and that he finds love and acceptance among his peers.

I never think you know what you're talking about.    I also think some people prefer to be miserable.  I think, if our buddy doesn't have some mental issue, he's pretty happy being unhappy and this message board is an outlet.

No, I was done.  Although I probably should expand my thought a little.   I have no idea how accurate it is but I believe people who shout "I've got a great life!!" on the internet are just attempting to convince themselves.    I think your buddy does that.
