I guess this has become a karmic experiment, so we'll see. It certainly could have gone differently - I was hoping that Murcer would fall to me, but then I thought if I took him you'd think I had something out for you, and that's certainly not the case. Then there was the prospect of adding a high avg, solid obp guy from the Phils own org, but Jose's head would likely have imploded in the same way that the Drew karmic cloud is likely to end. Of course, I'd never even consider that idea, having been welcomed into the Rule V fold so warmly many versions ago, I wouldn't want things to turn against me..
We are ignoring this whole topic. It never happened. We simply do not have the energy necessary to direct our extreme loathing at two targets simultaneously.

I stood and cheered when Drew STL. He is/was a clubhouse cancer. I remember a game when the Cards won in their last at bat at home, the entire dugout ran out onto the field. Drew never the dugout...He's a big baby, a prima donna if there ever was one...

Hey, those were my Yankees last round! I used him too, and to great effect - he delivered a .373/.415/.733 for a cool 1.148 OPS with 7 HRs and 25 RBI in his 75 ABs. Not too shabby...

Can't be around again till late, we probably won't go on the clock in the morning. I'll call it now and say the 3rd round won't officially begin till Monday. We'll still proceed once I can post the final keepers, but no one can get skipped over the weekend...
