tropicana: 10 games and no triples, even though you at least had one of the first teams that would come to mind in a bid for triples. How does that happen?

I....uhhh....I got nothing. Just when you think you know something about this game, it throws a curve at you. I thought that this was an inspired selection, and they were terrible. They couldn't do anything. So I guess that I'm not shocked. Maybe the OF defenses were too good and no one could get past second? I also didn't look at triples given up by pitchers so no idea if that has an effect...but man. I would have thought there would have been a couple. 

I will say that I'm not sure how many people picked a team thinking, "I'm gonna hit some triples and steal third!" I know I did...but I can't speak for anyone else and looking at the selections, I'm honestly not sure. A fat lot of good it did me, though...

I looked at that for my Royals team. I had some speed at the top and was planning on only needing a few to get into the lead. I happend to be right in only needing 1. Just turned out that I never had my speedy guys on in a position to steal 3rd and I only made one attempt at it.

I have not gotten any votes yet, and it occurs to me that the bonuses could be a bad thing, which is not the intent. If either BastanRedsox or kneeneighbor would rather pass on the bonus fearing that it could make them a target, post here by midnight Thursday. Votes will not be accepted until that time, and must be received by midnight Friday.

The bonus is first choice of teams in the next challenge, and no, I will not be providing information on what that challenge is. If both players keep the bonus, Bastan will pick first, then knee, and then the remaining two Survivors. If neither keeps the bonus, team selection will either be in a random order or by sitemail, not sure which yet.
