quarry is based on max collins novels.....hard case crime publishers........gritty noir story set in 1972 louisiana about returned vietnam vet who cant find acceptance and through circumstances is drawn into organized crime....evidently too good for tv....ive watched the first 2 episodes and it is great.....modern john d. mcdonald.
