Did the Stanley Cup Chumps beat up on the LOWLY FLAMES????
No...The Stanley Cup Champs beat up on the lowly Canucks.

Oh yeah...Corey Crawford looks pretty darned good.

You know, it makes me very nervous dominating the Canucks all regular season...Because at some point they're gonna figure things out...I think they're still good enough to win.

the hawks are looking a little more average this year than they did last year.  i figured they'd take the conference, but if they don't pick their game up soon, they won't even take the division.  hell, right now they are sitting fourth and nashville can actually catch them with their games in hand.  maybe the offseason moves hurt them more than it seemed.  i don't know.  still early though.  a lot can happen.  :>

As I've said before, a first half slide is expected while the team gels a little. Insert 11 new faces in ANY lineup in ANY sport and a decline, at least at first, should be expected. The real test comes after the Holidays when teams start looking towards the post-season.

or  as in Chicago's case, the draft

I don't think they'll figure it out, the Hawks bring out the worst in the Canucks especially red-light Luongo.

This is funny coming from a Flames fan...Although I do hope Jarome and Tanguay pile up points for my pool's sake :-)

U have Flames in your pool?? oops.. though Kane is destroying mine.. arg

And I bet against the Hawks making the playoffs so of course I am going to trash talk em even if the Flames suck severe buttocks

Yeah I know...it's all good nick...
But yeah Tanguay was my last pick in the draft. I figured it's a decent gamble since he can't get any worse than he was last season. As for Jarome, he's my 3rd/4th forward (with Kane, Hossa and Kessel) and my 4th round pick (in a 12 team league) so as long as he puts up 30-35 goals and 65-75 pts I'll be happy.

HAHAHAHAHA ,are you like Godmike and have no cable ? have you seen the games  Andru?  you might as well pimp Luongo out to the F@gs in Chi Town ,thats how bad you own our so called Superstar..he probably curls up in the fetal position and sucks his thumb wimpering back and forth after he plays the Hawks..its disgusting to watch..can you spell P_U_S_S_Y ?

Yeah I've watched the games Randle and yes, the Hawks have owned Lu for 3 years now...but it kind of creates a false sense of security in the Hawks as well, which is what makes me nervous. I just get the feeling that they'll take it for granted when it really counts and the Canucks will jump all over them. I'm not saying it's going to happen for sure, but I just have that gut feeling.

As for Luongo, I have no explanation for what's happened to him. I mean I remember him single-handedly dragging a terrible Panthers team to doorstep of the playoffs one year while keeping them competitive every year he was there, and stealing alot of games in his first few years in Vancouver. I just don't get what's happened to him. It can't be just the Hawks. Maybe he's feeling the heat in Vancouver and needs to get out. I dunno...

Hawks go to 3-2 on the circus trip with a nice win today in Anaheim.  Crawford was outstanding again and kept them close until our outburst put it away.   6 points so far is pretty solid considering they haven't been very consistent this season.   A win tomorrow against LA would be well deserved.

Its obvious  Byfuglien was a bigger pat of your team than what management thought..come playoffs i think you guys will miss him even more
