Talk about spin to the point of LYING!!!

The thing is, many of your points are quite valid! And I agree with them, and then you state garbage like "illegals don't pay taxes, but they get tax refunds."

HOW?? IF they're illegal they wouldn't have a social security number, without a SS# they aren't getting no refund!!!

AND that's NOT the only completely bullshit point you listed.
Renders the valid ones subject to dismissal as bullshit also!
Should I therefore dismiss the following, even though I tend to agree with them

llegals aren't required to show ID, but citizens can't buy cough medicine without it.

Citizens are fined if they don’t buy their own health insurance, and then they are forced to buy it for illegals.

People who have never owned slaves should pay slavery reparations to people who have never been slaves.

Inflammatory rhetoric is outrageous, but harassing people in restaurants is virtuous.

People who have never been to college should pay the debts of college students who took out huge loans for useless degrees.

Immigrants with tuberculosis and polio are welcome, but you’d better be able to prove your dog is vaccinated.

Irish doctors and German engineers who want to immigrate must go through a rigorous vetting process, but any illiterate Central-American gang-banger who jumps the southern fence is welcome.

AND, please tell me just where it is that any government of OURS is asking for hunters' shotguns!!

"It’s okay for Iran to have nukes, but duck hunters should turn in their shotguns."
(per your statement quoted below!)

You jumped the shark with your reprint of the TP-ers talking points.
Those folks are uneducated morons for the most part.
I KNOW, because I've been to a Tea Party meeting.
YOU should try it (attending a TP meeting), afterwards you'd run so fast from them folks you'd be the reincarnation of Willie Wilson!!

I disagree with a bunch of Doc's premises and conclusions, but there's one I really feel like I need to call out. This:

It was cool for Joe Biden to blackmail the President of Ukraine, but it’s an impeachable offense if Donald Trump inquires about it.

Both Joe and Hunter Biden have been (overly) thoroughly investigated and no wrongdoing whatsoever has been found. Period. It's pretty clear what news you watch in the morning. Trump and a few of his friends at Fox News are continuing to try to make this an issue. It's utter nonsense.

Joe Biden has dedicated his life to public service. He's been remarkably scandal-free for a guy with decades in the upper echelons of Federal politics. He deserves better treatment than this. If you want to go negative on Biden, it should begin and end with the fact that he seems increasingly unable to shake the distinct impression of growing senility.

It's unbelievable that the same guy arguing that all the evidence of wrongdoing on Trump's part with respect to the Ukraine is circumstantial, secondhand, or less than factual is still buying into the Biden/Ukraine conspiracy theory.

I mean, it's not. Our political preferences certainly incline us to believe or dismiss evidence more easily. And our news sources certainly bias the evidence we see.

So I guess it's believable. But it's absurd.

Sorry but I merely copy pasted it from an email I was sent. I didn't vet the thing prior to publishing...i didn't type all of that.

You know though, why should I apologize? Trump overstates stuff, he takes in all kinds of artillery, he doesn't bother to apologize. He simply reloads and sends another volley...

They say absurd and hateful crap all day long. Much of it, almost all of it, is what George Harrison called U2's music. Rubbish...

Extremely well said
You can blow it out your ***, welp.

Allow me to expand on my answer. I come on this site and help others routinely. Then I am mercilessly picked apart. Some chime in just to feel a part of something, no matter how pathetic that is. I give you, as Krauthhammer referenced so eloquently, The Deuce.

The media"s job is to report, not stand with the Democrats. They are no longer journalists, just opinion writers.

I don't mind your or Dahs's rebuttals. The whiner is who I'm upset with. He argues for the sake of argument. Yes it is, no it isn't is not an argument. It is a ******* contest. I have no use for him.

I'm not going to defend everything Orange Man says. Of course he is a blowhard. I don't care. He isn't offending me. He is largely implementing a conservative agenda. Much more so than previous Republicans came in range of. I couldn't be happier with that. I root him on to take them head on. They are relentless, as he should continue to be...4 more years, and 4 more of whining and ******** from the Minority. Good Day.

Minority?

Democrats get millions more votes than the Repugs every recent cycle, you can look it up.

Thank God for Gerrymandering

Minority, as in governorships, state legislatures, not controlling the White House or US Senate. Winning large coastal states by wide margins means nothing if it fails to translate to the rest of the country. Look THAT up.

According to the Cooper Center st the university of Virginia, 70% of the U.S. population will live in 15 states by 2040. This means that 30% of the population will select 70 senators. The 30% will be mostly rural, old, white and male.

I maintain a home outside the metro STL, and a home up the road from Hilo on Big Island. If one can make a decent living away from a large metropolitan area, I don't see the appeal of big city life. To each his or her own...why put up with the rat race if you don't have to?

I don't think we will see Wyoming having to surrender a Senator slot to California. The heavier populated states do get more delegates, so they aren't ignored population wise in politics. I don't like the idea of a few states deciding outcomes for the rest of us. I don't want the Electoral College abolished. As Hillary just said " There are rules. We should play by the rules. We knew the rules when we got into this."
