Food for thought.... I would like to propose a new addition to the Official Glossary: TTMRKPOAT (The Two Most Ridiculous Keeper Picks Of All Time) - referring of course to Steve Blass and Omar Moreno.

To be fair, my draft shortlist was:

1. Carlos Delgado
2. Steve Blass
3. Omar Moreno
4. Willie McGee

Doh! Wanted to try Hader, but losing Rollie could hurt.

Put any of them on the TTMRKPOAT (The Most Ridiculous Keeper Picks Of All Time) List. eh?

But, I realize that the Diamondbacks dont really HAVE Any players worth protecting, WOW rough team to pick from, or Did you get Stuck with them? Tough draw, indeed! Just as BAD as the Rays!?

Point #1: In all of the 30+ legs of this theme I have been in, this has been the most fun draft ever.
Point #2: Some of youse (the Philly plural) have questioned my drafting via SM (and you know who you are) but all I can say is that what I have been doing previously isn't working, other than guaranteeing me a bottom 3 finish. Time to try something new. We are not playing for real money. This is to have fun. As an old guy, that's what I want to do with the rest of my life. Kids are grown, gone and successful. Businesses grown, gone and successful. Ex-Wives grown (fat), gone and I really don't care. I wanted to try new **** and so what? What is the worst that can happen? I finish last. "See you at the party Richter"
Point #3: I have played with all y'all for years now. We need new blood like good_beef. He stirs the pot and keeps it all real (as long as we are not in his reality). I for one welcome him/her with open arms.

Oh and as for my team, I was overjoyed to see Murphy there with a 3rd round pick. I have had Pedroia over and over and over. Stiff. Does not normalize well. Another steroid stud. All you have to do is look at him in real life. He is broken. Hasn't played a full season in years......................

Ok off my soapbox. Y'all know me not to be very loquacious but the time was just right. Play Ball.

PS Extra credit for the first one to tell me what movie the "see you at the party......." quote came from

I once protected Jose Canseco for the Rangers because I confused him with Juan Gonzalez. That was more ridiculouser.

I guess you mean -- "See you at the party, Richter!"... from Total Recall?

I guess the Pirates had NO Players, nobody wanted in the 3rd Round? Oh,well... There really aint that much left, except "Average" players, that I can use myself? With my improved SP, I LIKE my Team, even though most still think the Pirates are full of SH*T!

Good Luck to Everyone... "Let's ROCK!!" (can Anyone tell me who said That?)

I'm the "Straw that stirs the drink", thank You Reggie Jackson Mr October!
