4. Ryan Adams - a little good but not good enough
5. Taylor Swift - a few good songs and a whole lot of nothing
6. Radiohead - a few good songs and a whole lot of nothing
7. Green Day - boring wannabe crap
8. Whiskytown - boring
9. Red Hot Chilli Peppers - boring hype
10. Bob Seger - he has heart but at the end it is just safe rock no roil.
11. Journey - Yes to Dont Stop Believing but no to the rest
12. REO Speedwagon - one good ballad
13. Jonas Brothers - too slow and boring for retirement homes
14. Motley Crew - frauds
15. Guns and Roses - after one amazing song nowhere ville

Trower is a great guitar player. May not be everyone's cup of tea, but you can't deny his talent. (Well, you can, but you'd be wrong) Prine is an excellent songwriter. His voice and playing style never really did anything for me, but he wrote some fantastic songs. Eddie Van Halen was also an excellent guitar player. What makes someone overrated in your view? Just that you don't like them but many other people do?

I can cherry pick a few good Van Halen songs. Van Halen is not garbage but the vast majority of it is not rock and roll. It is riffless pansey rock.
Real rock and roll has a subterranean source.
It bubbles up slowly or it bubbles up fast but it bubbles up.

Im an American citizen. I’m not going to shy away from expressing what I think no matter how extreme or sure about and I don’t care if I step on toes.
I don’t need your or anyone’s permission or acceptance. I’m not a wishy washy person.
If I define Rick and roll then that is reality to me.
Im not stupid and say that no one else can disagree.

ps. although I did not have to I was nice enough to stress IMO in my list and it is implied elsewhere because I am an intelligent person and believe the same of others and there is no need for me to say IMO every time I post.

notice, I did not say they were great bands. All I said was that Trower and Van Halen were talented guitar players and Prine was a great songwriter.
