Carbomb is the best of the bunch........But he is injured.

Montador has been okay at times.  Brunette and O'D haven't been great, but their leadership has been a plus.  Mayers has been great.  Carbomb was pretty good when he wasn't being a total fugging idiot.  

They were all signed to provide depth, not be stars.  That's what they provided.  In the end, we're in the playoffs and are going to be very dangerous.  Anyone who doesn't think so is laughably retarded.

Let's see who the matchup is before I consider doubling the bet.

If we get the good Corey, yes...very dangerous.  If we get the unconfident Corey....eeek.

I'm hoping they get the kings. I thought the kings would be a top 2-3 team in the NHL before the season. Quick is very under rated. I think of all the teams in the West this team could easily be the most overlooked to have a deep run.... When scoring, and they have the talent, they are a really deep and balanced team.

Quick is a kickass goalie for sure.  I think we all thought they'd walk to the Pacific crown this year.

moy.....you are trouble with this bet.  The Hawks got Phoenix???  Phoenix was the best case scenario for the Hawks.  Hawks will win this series in 6 or less.

I'm going to pass on the double-or-nothing wager.  With Toews' availability still in question, I can see things not going our way.  Of course, we could sweep them too.

Remember that Chicago has the BEST core in hockey.........BUT!!

According to you??  The HAWK'S Core is fragile, and the TEAM needs all the CORE members to be 100% healthy for the team to WIN!!!  NO TOEWS=NO CUP RUN!!!!!!

Why take a bet where our chances are diminished so severely?  With the way Mike Smith has been playing, we'll need to be at our best to beat that guy.  Not saying we can't beat them, but that $200 is half my Wrigleyfest money.  A bird in the hand, right?  Besides, I deal with my own anxiety during a Hawks playoff series and don't feel the need to add another level of consternation to it.

Someone let me know when randletard's team actually wins something.  Then he can talk about hockey.  Until then, he'll continued to be ignored.
