Don't want to depress you Sak, but the yearly December swoon is coming.

With that schedule in December, they'd better not swoon.

This week: @BUF, NYI, DET
December: @TB, @FLA, TB, @WAS, @ATL, ATL, TOR, CAR, @STL, @NJ, @CAR, @ATL, @PIT

That's 16 games between now and New Year's. I see no reason why they can't get 20 points at the absolute minimum from that stretch. Why 20? Well, 10 games are against teams that right now would be out of the playoffs. So 20 points should be the least they get from this stretch.

i just checked the overall standings for the first time in a week and a half or so, and the bruins are in top spot in the east. and they only have three losses (in regulation). how did that happen??? they're also tied for most goals scored. grats to you bruins fans. hope they can keep it up. :>

Before I start being happy about this team. They still need to be in 1st after the New Year.

My brother in law noticed that they have been playing Devil hockey, defensively. If that is true, then that is a good thing for the whole season.

How is Wideman doing for the B's this season?
11/25/2008 10:51 AM
Wideman is steady on D, contributing a bit on offensive, picking up some slack by Ferrence's injury.

bruins still suck

KESSEL!!!!!
12/5/2008 9:59 AM
Tonight (and tomorrow night) I get to watch the younger Kessel. He's a freshman defenseman for UNH. Last time Lowell played UNH (when Lowell spanked them 8-3), Kessel was the only one who stood out to me. He could be a very good d-man someday.

KESSEL!!!!!!

Dec 6
Phil Kessel (LW) BOS
Kessel scored in his fifth straight game when he potted his 16th in Saturday's win over Florida. He's also riding an 11-game, 14-point streak right now. And he's on a 50-goal pace -- yes, you read that right. We're not confident he'll be able to keep up that pace but 40 is certainly within reach. And that would put him in elite company in fantasy leagues. His value is on a rocket right now.

And last night made six games in a row when he got his 17th.
