fixed my problem of having only the minumum # of skaters. dropped a crappy old guy and signed 2 crappy young guys with really high potential.

I've had this guy awhile. Dion Vandezande. Shot Power 97, Shot Accuracy 56.

I'm thinking "Happy Gilmore".

Sparky needs to unload Hung, and Wylie needs to get rid o that goalie Speedy stuck him with too.

Teh sucky thing about old guys is your training tells you when somebody improves, but the old guys just lose points without notice or warning.

told ya Nylin was on his way down, that's why I unloaded him. He went from 70-68 and I wasn't giving him a chance to get any older on my watch.

It feels weird not signing a single free agent.

Maybe I need to go kick some tires.

do you see what my Scots are doing to Angry Dragon in our public league?

Is it bad that it says with my current salary ($28M) I will be bankrupt by the end of the first year?
4/4/2010 10:44 PM
How much is the salary cap?
4/4/2010 10:55 PM
35m

Pay attention to your advisors, and work on improving the areas under Facilities on the Finanaces page. This will impact your income.

I think the game suggests not going over 25 mil in your first season so as to not spread yourself too thin early on. But you'll have some leeway even if you go a little into the red. And several of us have made use of bank loans. Just be sure you have a plan if you go that route.

also, we still have room for two more owners. I'd love to get those filled before the 7th when the offseason ends.

ah yes. When a player on your roster is entering the last year of his contract, you have the option to re-sign him at any time during the course of that contract year. Players that you re-sign do not count against the cap. I happen to be a big fan of this. Of course, once someone goes over, they pretty much have to ride those horses. They can't add free agents.
