Hey all, I sitemailed Sin, I may be AWOL come tomorrow afternoon - Thurs, my wife's Gma passed and we are doing the services those days, Sin already has been great & has also volunteered to create the league in the event that I am not around those days, & Doc's pick gets made, hope he is ok.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone heard from Doc in any other sim leagues?  Starting to get a bit worried...

I'm pretty certain I speak for everyone here when I say you'll be in our thoughts during your surgery. Also, musso, very sorry to hear about your wife's grandmother. As for Doc and what to do if he can't run his team, the answer seems logical: one of us would make his pick and take over his team.

Still no word from Doc. Is there an AL owner who would be willing to do what holleybard suggests above? Shall we give Doc one more day? Looks like we'll be waiting for tridentric for a couple of days anyway. Hope the surgery goes well. Darn real life getting in the way of the sim again;-)

if there is no AL owner, and Doc remains missing, I will be able to take over his team, granted I am in the NL as well, but it will be something I am willing to do if there is no other owner willing.

Just for everyone's info, I will be away rom the computer until Monday. If we get a # this weekend, I will enter the Stros Monday.

I can take it if Doc doesn't come back since I have the A's.  Let's give him until Friday anyway.  My daughter is getting married next week so if I am going to work on another team I would like to have the weekend to work on it and have it completed by Sunday night before I need to travel from Florida to Texas for the wedding.

I will be without computer access for 1 week starting on Saturday, sorry boys but a family vacation in the wilderness will keep me away, so if we cannot resolve this by Friday, I trust you will have the patience for the delay.

All right, we'll give Doc until Friday morning to make his pick.  If we don't hear from him before then, mllama will make his last pick.  Once he does that, we'll create a league number.  I hope to have that taken care of before spoonfed leaves us for a week.  Sound good?

Will do.  And even after I make the pick and submit the team, if Doc comes back before we have our first game he can have the team back to play if he wants.

Gentlemen, I have just returned from the hospital and though still a bit groggy from the anesthesia, I am ready to go. The good news, I will be able to walk again. The surgery was more involved than the surgeon thought so instead of just having the boot, I have a full on cast. So I am stuck here for the foreseeable future with WIS one of my only outlets to semi reality.
