I don’t want this to sound like I’m picking on the anchors, as this is just a general comment about the draft rules. I don’t think it’s fair that the people on both ends can wait like 14 hours to make their pick, when everyone else has 30 minutes or risk being skipped. This has nothing to do with speeding up the draft, just fairness. At the very least, the 1st and 24th pick slot should have to make their first pick in their end of day time slot or risk being skipped. They can wait until morning for the second if they want, but they shouldn’t get so much more time than everyone else. Again, just a general comment, nothing against the anchors of this draft.
While I hear ya;
A) Life ain't fair...
B) This is the way it has always been, and so it shall be...
C) In this particular DEAL draft, kelly graciously agreed to switch drafts w/ me, as I am on a cruise ship in the Med...It is a little after 7 a.m. here...I actually took about 20 minutes to decide on my picks, basically as soon as I woke up...Sometimes 'life' doesn't always work perfectly w/i the confines of WIS...

Not to belabor this, but agree with dilli, who has been a longtime and valued owner. We are operating under the rules as they are. I'm not sure given the excellent owners we have that it makes much difference whether it's a half hour or 14 since guys usually are developing their short lists over a period of time anyway. For next draft, you may have a good point emanes10, but for now, it's a one round a day draft and the bookends are what they are. Just my two cents. Carry on! :)
