I believe in the religion of I Dont Know. So you can say that I am agnostic.

This is fine if honest and not atheistic hateful. You could've said so a long time ago. Saved time and effort on a couple wars.
What is your basis for questioning my honesty.
Athiests are not hateful until someone says they are hateful. They just want to be free from forced observance or being targets for conversion.
I strongly believe that my religion is the fastest growing religion in the world and empirical evidence supports this.

Why do I have to be misunderstood.

empirical evidence ?! You're weird. And wrong. Why did 10s of thousands line the seashores to hear and get a glimpse of Jesus ? Have you been to a sold out 20,000-50,000 Christian concert lately ? Taylor Swift has nothing on these artists if all they wanted to do was perform 24/7/365 and make money and have the spotlite on themselves rather than letting it shine on Jesus. We show up for a celebration and confirmation among others of real life that's in our heart. But according to you since science can't prove it then it doesn't exist. We're just weak insecure suckers with our Crutch. Make mine a full-on stretcher.
I read the first sentence and when you called me weird I stopped reading.

There was an extremely interesting Pew Research survey from 2021 of American Christians. I commend the looking into it. One of the most interesting findings for me is that they found that 32% of Christian ( born into and /or identifying ) do not believe in any type of biblical God. Rather they believe in simply a self defining higher power.

That is fascinating to me because that is a very high percentage that does not even include atheists/agnostics. I’m guessing with them included we are talking 40% at least.

The country is changing regarding religion in a definite trend
I reprint -by Pew Research - out of the pews and out of the vestibule and into the the public domain.
Gallop has the same results. The trend is real and accelerating.
People are stoping going to “church” and reaching out for the God that meets their definition or they thoughtfully say they only have conjecture and wonderment. And some say that they come from Missouri on the subject.

Fewer people are “going to “church” and instead are reaching out for the God that meets their definition or they thoughtfully say they only have conjecture and wonderment. And some say that they come from Missouri on the subject.

I don't remember Mwett ever telling anyone they are going to hell because they don't believe what he believes. There is only one person I am aware does that. I don't mind anyone being religious. If it improves their lives, then who am I to say anything? I firmly believe you have the right to believe whatever you choose to believe. I have that same right. I won't criticize your beliefs if you don't criticize min. I won't push you to believe what I believe. Don't push me to believe what you believe.

Maine has a basically lax legal structure with regard to guns. We don’t yet have a timeline but he had a serious issue of schizophrenia and other mental illness. Perhaps he was under a mental illness compulsion or he was angry about a particular set of beliefs not his own.

The fact is that he purchased the gun legally but where was the background check and or why wasn’t his mental illness a block and why were his weapons not confiscated.

The timeline will be studied.
Big lawsuits seem to be looming and political outrage will be coming also.

and as far as putting God in a box, I think lnf does that. It's either believe in his God, or you are wrong.

I have read it literally about 20 times and it is usually directed to me.
He is entitled to his beliefs and comments and religion. He also has the right to remain silent.

I enjoy THE LNF. He actually knows his bible chapter and verse and he is funny.

I will say this. Most very angry Bible thumpers are insecure about their beliefs. Or they are like the screaming man from Network.

I know that I can ignore someone. Thanks.

I do not disparage anyone’s religion. Nor do I disparage someone for having different beliefs.
It is a wrong minded, presumptuous and mean spirited person who has to tell people that they face hell for having a different set of beliefs and ideals.

How religious people talk as if they sit at the right hand of god is bizzare. Sometimes they say it is in god’s hands and leave it up to Her. That’s better.

During a heated movement in the house during the debt ceiling crisis, a New York congressman pulled the the fire alarm. He is now being charged with a ms. demeanor and he deserves it.

He says he thought he was opening a door. What a crock.
Maybe not exactly applicable but I say Oliver Wendell Holmes. Did you ever hear of him ??
