To the class of '20...

Junior Bennett became the first Cardinal to reach 2000 (or even 1500) points or 1000 rebounds. He also is among the all time CUA leaders in blocks, steals and FG%. He scored over 30 points in 3 straight postseason games.

Robert Varela finished his career among Cardinal leaders in rebounds and FG% and the all-time leader in blocks. He posted 13 double-doubles his senior year.

Mitchell Thompson is one of the best rebounding SF's ever to lace them up in D3. He also was a feared long distance shooter.

Theodore Aldridge was the consumate team player over his 4 years, scoring a career high to help win the conference title vs. York and following that up with his high rebounding game in the first round of the NT.

Every so hopefully trying to beat out this comment from my last recruiting class:
"Which team name is more wimpy sounding? Villa Julia or Mary Washington? At least VJ makes me thing of Raul Julia; that's something. That aside was to fill space since I don't have too much to say about this class."

Junior Bennett wouldn't have made 3rd team All conference in the HCAC. The CAC is like the minorleagues of the HCAC. The CAC just doesn't have the Heart(land) that the HCAC does.

But seriously - Andrewfrance, congrats on the second title. I look forward to my beatdown in W7. Now's the year to catch me on my home floor.
