Day off, but helping my grandmother move a few things. Stopped at a new Coney place that advertised .99 cent coneys. The onoins were really flavorless and dried out. The onions the gas station I go to that has hot dogs taste better and are fresher, odd since they keep them in a plastic container by the hot dog roller. The also used an off tasting mustard.

You get hot dogs at a gas station?

Yes.

The Speedway chain has hot dogs, cheeseburgers, egg rolls and a great selection of coffee and fountain beverages.

With a card you sign up for you get a bunch of free stuff.

Fat people have always ran the world. TV has given us an idea that only skinny attractive people matter, but in reality the only place that works is Sitcoms and High School.

The real world is run by fat ugly people!

I am forced to agree with swamp. Consider this recent meeting of the Board of Governors of the International Monetary Fund:

For reasons I cannot explain I was in the mood for a meatloaf.

1 pound ground chuck

1 pound ground veal

1 pound ground pork

2 medium onions chooped fine

2 celery stalks chopped fine

4 cups cornbread crumbs

2 eggs

salt pepper garlic parsley

1/2 cup Worstishire sauce

1/2 cup catsup

Mix it all together and make a loaf...bake at 325 for 30 minutes covered with foil and for 15 minutes at 375 uncovered.

Keep meaning to try the new subway breakfast. Never seem to be in the right place at the right time.

Working on an idea for a fish loaf. Like meatloaf but with a low cost fish. Probably Taliapa. Using my salmon patties as a framework, but expanding.

This could be my claim to fame.

The fish loaf isnt working. Pound of defrosted taliapa , 2 cups bread crumbs, 2 eggs and seasoning. mixed in food processor.

Came out like a sort of fish blob. And the seasoning was way off.

Fish loaf 2 was another failure, but closer. Some butter seems to add to the recipe, giving it the right texture and a little deeper flavor.

Seasoning is still off.

Got my speedway coffe perfect.

Take large cup. Fill a little more than half with carmel lattee. Add 3 vanilla creaners and 1 sugar. Fill to top with premium roast. Stir and enjoy!
